Matt McClellan
Co-Founder, CEO
Matt McClellan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Hona, where he leads the company's vision and growth alongside the operations and partnerships that keep every PI firm we serve running smoothly. Before Hona, he co-founded and ran HMC Solutions, a Southern California commercial cleaning company, for four years before leading its sale.
Outside of work, Matt is a devoted husband and father of three. He enjoys tackling home projects, playing golf, and staying on the basketball court — a blend of entrepreneurial experience, operational leadership, and personal dedication that defines both his professional and personal life.
Josh Christensen
Co-Founder, CTO
Joshua Christensen is the Co-Founder and CTO of Hona. With more than eight years in B2B SaaS, Josh combines deep technical expertise with a proven track record of building and scaling products. Before Hona, he developed his engineering and leadership skills at Qualtrics, one of the fastest-growing software companies in Utah.
At Hona, Josh built the company's initial product from the ground up and has since assembled a world-class engineering team to execute on the vision. He drives the technical strategy, ensures product scalability, and shapes the long-term technology roadmap — passionate about creating technology that delivers meaningful impact.

Alex Fowler
VP of Engineering
Alex Fowler is the VP of Engineering at Hona, with a decade of experience building and scaling technical products and teams. At Hona, Alex has led the team in transitioning the core product from MVP to a scalable, reliable platform, and his teams have delivered two new product lines from concept to market in under eight months.
At Qualtrics, his teams played key roles in the SAP acquisition and the subsequent IPO. Previous customer-facing and business-analyst experience gives him the rare ability to ship products that drive both customer value and business outcomes.
Jordan Rupp
VP of Finance & Ops
Jordan Rupp is the Vice President of Finance & Operations at Hona, with over a decade leading finance across high-growth SaaS, PE-backed enterprises, and global financial institutions. At Hona, he established the company's financial foundation and continues to position the business for its next stage of growth.
Previously, Jordan was Senior Director of FP&A at Vivint Smart Home, supporting a $B+ revenue enterprise, and earlier played a key role at Podium during its hypergrowth — including a $125M Series C. He began his career at Goldman Sachs.
Zach McDonald
Director of AI
Zach McDonald is the Director of AI at Hona, where he leads the team building Lia and the autonomous agents that power our case workflows. He focuses on shipping AI that lawyers and case managers actually trust — measurable, explainable, and grounded in how PI firms really work.

Chris Melville
Director of Product
Chris Melville is the Director of Product at Hona, where he leads product strategy across the Business Portal, Client Portal, and the suite of AI Case Agents that sit between them. He partners closely with engineering, design, and customer teams to ship product that compounds — every release should make the next one easier.

Taylor Edwards
Director of Sales
Taylor Edwards is the Director of Sales at Hona, leading the team that partners with personal injury firms across the country to roll out Hona's AI case agents. He's spent his career in legal tech go-to-market and brings a player-coach approach: pipeline in one hand, playbook in the other.

Amy Cheetham
Investment Partner, Costanoa Ventures
Amy is an Investment Partner at Costanoa. Named one of EVCA's Top 25 Emerging VCs in 2022 and to Forbes' ‘Midas Brink’ list in 2023, Amy focuses on investing in exceptional early-stage applied AI, vertical SaaS, and fintech startups — from infrastructure and payments to application-layer AI tools.
Before Costanoa, she ran North American sales strategy and operations at Zuora. Prior to that, she invested in growth-stage technology companies at Summit Partners and began her career at JP Morgan in technology investment banking. Amy holds a B.A. from Connecticut College.
Dan Cook
CEO, PDQ
Dan Cook is the CEO of PDQ, where he leads the company's vision and growth strategy. Previously, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Lucid, helping scale the business into one of Utah's leading tech success stories. Dan holds a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In addition to his executive roles, he has served on the boards of several Utah-based startups, advising the next generation of entrepreneurs.
